Staircase by Danny Kuo

Now whoever said furniture is boring I, or rather Danny Kuo, shall prove you wrong.  Clever, neat, efficient storage is something we generally strive for in a world filled with so much stuff, and Danny Kuo’s Staircase of storage units ticks all the boxes.

Liking this quite a lot.  It’s like a giant pastiche of objects, a composition in its own right - that is, until someone comes into the scene and moves them around.  Then it becomes a playground, hopefully fostering wonderment and spatial sensibilities.  I hope.

(via freshome) I love how warm and simplistic this room is; I also like how that circular couchy thing in the centre will mean that you can’t stub your toes on any nasty corners.
